We are excited to announce that the subsurface irrigation system is up and running. We are looking forward to seeing bigger, juicier berries this year. We also continued to work on rehabilitating the field and everything is growing very well and pushing out all kinds of new growth and big blueberry clusters.
We are now in our third season being a CERTIFIED NATURALLY GROWN farm. What that means is that our blueberries are grown without the use of synthetic chemicals or fertilizers and are free of GMO’s. CERTIFIED NATURALLY GROWN is a grass roots alternative to certified organic. Please check out their website and you can find us on there and read about our farming practices too.
FOR THE KIDS: We love to see the kids out here picking with their parents or grandparents. Come out and find Grandma Blueberry who stands out as the tallest blueberry bush in the field. We haven’t measured her yet for her 2026 reading. We will have rocks painted with blueberries again this year-find one and win a prize. This year we will have youth sized t-shirts for sale that say “I picked berries at Bridge Avenue Berries”. The youth shirts this year will reflect a patriotic theme.
